hardboard - a cheap hard material made from wood chips
that are pressed together and bound with synthetic resin
The standard hardboard sheet finished on one side and
has a textured underside, the most common thicknesses
being 3.2mm. The
boards should be stored flat and care should be taken
to keep the sides and corners protected.
